Welcome to DSD Online (the “Platform”), an online community and educational environment operated by DSD (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform, including all discussion channels, tutorials, master classes, open sessions, podcasts, and courses offered through it (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Your Account To access most features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without notice.
4. Educational Purpose — No Clinical, Medical, or Professional Advice All content available on the Platform is provided for educational and informational purposes only. The Platform is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment, formal dental education, certification, licensure, or in-person training. Nothing on the Platform constitutes clinical, medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any technique, protocol, product, or concept presented on the Platform and for determining whether it complies with the laws, regulations, and standards of care applicable to your jurisdiction and practice. You must always exercise your own clinical judgment and rely on your training, licensure, and applicable regulatory guidance when treating patients.
5. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Payments
5.1 Courses and Subscriptions Certain features of the Platform, including specific courses and premium content, may require payment of a one-time fee or a recurring subscription. Pricing, billing frequency, and renewal terms will be displayed at the point of purchase. By completing a purchase or subscription, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the applicable fees, taxes, and other charges to the payment method you provide.
5.2 Automatic Renewal Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period.
5.3 Refunds Except where required by applicable law, fees paid for courses, subscriptions, or digital content are non-refundable once access has been granted or content has been consumed. Specific refund terms, if any, will be communicated at the point of purchase or in separate course-specific terms.
5.4 Taxes All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, or similar governmental assessments unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for any such taxes associated with your purchases.
6. Intellectual Property All content made available through the Platform — including but not limited to courses, videos, tutorials, master classes, podcasts, images, graphics, text, logos, trademarks, software, and the overall look and feel of the Platform (collectively, “DSD Content”) — is owned by DSD, its affiliates, or its licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to access and view DSD Content for your own professional and educational use. Any unauthorized use terminates the license granted above and may subject you to civil and criminal penalties.
7. User-Generated Content and Community Moderation The Platform allows you to post comments, messages, questions, images, videos, clinical cases, or other materials in community channels and other interactive areas (“User Content”).
7.1 Your Responsibility You are solely responsible for the User Content you post and for any consequences of doing so. By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
7.2 License to Us By posting User Content, you grant DSD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, publish, publicly display, and distribute such User Content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Platform and the Services. This license continues for as long as the User Content remains on the Platform and, for any copies retained for backup, archival, or legal purposes, thereafter.
7.3 Zero Tolerance Policy and Moderation DSD maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding objectionable content, harassment, and abusive behavior within the Platform. To ensure a safe environment, we provide in-app features that allow you to:
We will actively monitor and review all flagged content within twenty-four (24) hours of reporting. We reserve the right to immediately remove any User Content that we deem to violate these Terms, applicable law, or our community guidelines. Furthermore, DSD will permanently suspend or terminate the accounts of users who provide objectionable content or engage in abusive behavior, without prior notice.
8. Prohibited Conduct You agree not to use the Platform to:
9. Third-Party Services and Links The Platform may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, applications, or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such third-party services is at your own risk and is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
10. Privacy Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, nor do we warrant that any content, courses, or educational materials will meet your professional, clinical, or business requirements. Any reliance on content available through the Platform is at your own risk. We expressly disclaim any liability for clinical outcomes or professional decisions made based on information obtained from the Platform.
12. Limitation of Liability TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DSD AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DSD and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (i) your use of the Platform; (ii) your User Content; (iii) your violation of these Terms; (iv) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (v) your professional acts or omissions, including any clinical decisions informed by Platform content.
14. Suspension and Termination We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected violation of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that we determine may harm other users, the Platform, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by following the cancellation process in your account settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
15. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where changes are material, provide additional notice (such as email or an in-Platform notification). Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of them.
16. International Use The Platform is intended for use by dental professionals worldwide. However, we make no representation that the Platform or any content is appropriate or available for use in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for compliance with all local laws applicable to your access to and use of the Platform.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DSD is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory applicable law.
