Rogerio holds a Master’s and Postdoctoral Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He studied at USP and completed his Masters at Unesp Araçatuba.
He was a guest lecturer at Northwestern University and followed one of the world's greatest influences in Orthognathic Surgery, Professor Roger Kallal.
He is the youngest to have earned a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Baylor University, Texas, where he worked with one of the forerunners of most surgical techniques, Dr. Larry Wolford.
He has been in Brasília since 1999 with a total focus on surgical dentistry.
He grew up in the halls of the famous Centrinho at USP, a reference by the World Health Organization (WHO) in the area of rehabilitation of facial deformities, founded by his father and other dentists in 1967.
Keeping up the family tradition, he studied at USP, where he did his residency at the Centrinho in Bauru.
Soon after, he finished his Master's degree at Unesp (University of São Paulo) in Araçatuba and sought more knowledge and experience in the United States. On American soil, he was a guest professor at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he had the pleasure of living with and assisting one of the great icons in orthognathic surgery, Professor Roger Kallal.
Soon after, he moved on to Baylor University in Dallas, Texas. During this period, he worked daily with Dr. Larry Wolford, who is considered one of the most renowned surgeons in the world, besides being one of the creators and precursors of most of the surgical techniques used until today.
At Baylor University, he earned a Postdoctoral Fellowship, finishing the program at the age of 26 and considered the youngest to have earned such a title.
