DSD Lower

The DSD Lower is a digital wax up of the lower arch, designed considering a facially-driven, clinical and functional analysis of the patient.

The DSD Lower is the DSD main product option for diagnosing, planning, explaining and motivating the patient when only the lower arch will be treated, or in situations where the lower design has to be added after an upper design was done previously.

3 (or 4) Digital files, which are:

• DSD Lower presentation: a powerpoint presentation, containing all the essential images of the DSD Lower, enabling you to understand what is needed to achieve an aesthetic and functional outcome.

• STL File of the Lower Pre Treatment: the model of the actual situation of the patient overlapped with the DSD Lower, in which the original model is digitally untouched.

• STL File of the Lower Post Treatment: the model of the actual situation of the patient overlapped with the DSD Lower, in which the original model is digitally trimmed, so the simulation of the final outcome can be appreciated.

• The Motivational Mockup is typically sent only for the upper arch, but in cases where there is a significant aesthetic impact for the patient, it is possible to request a DSD Motivational Mockup for the lower arch as well.

• DSD Photo Protocol (5 pictures) and Video

• STL file of the upper arch, STL file of the lower arch and the correct bite registration.

• A panoramic X-Ray, or periapical X-rays.

• A CBCT (optional), so we have more information to design your case properly

This is one of the products that we call a “Pre-Case Acceptance Product” (Design, Plan and Motivate), which means it is one of the initial products that is mandatory for you to be able to request any subsequent product, which are the “Post-Case Acceptance Products” (Perform, Restore, Manufacture).
