DSD Master certification

1. Collaborate with the Planning Center as a DSD Provider or DSD Clinic.
2. Purchase the DSD Master certification product.
3. Open a DSD case that complies with the program’s first requirement (see below), and inform the Planning Center, via the case’s web chat, that it is the case you wish to consider for DSD Master certification. TIP: evaluate and if the case meets the first requirement and consider it for DSD Master certification AFTER the patient that has accepted the treatment plan.
4. Perform the case within DSD guidelines and DSD Master certification requirements, documenting all steps of the treatment and procedures, as per the **DSD Master template presentation.**
5. Submit case for DSD Master evaluation and certification, and receive your digital certificate and full DSD Master case report from the DSD Faculty within one month.

*You have two years to submit the complete case for evaluation. For complex and orthodontic cases that might take longer, an extension of this deadline can be requested to the DSD Certifications team, pending analysis from the DSD Planning Center on the case's timeline.

To be eligible for DSD Master certification, you need to be a dentist and collaborate with the Planning Center as a DSD Provider or DSD Clinic, and choose a DSD case to start the certification process, which must comply with 3 requirements:

1 - The case must be comprehensive: the motivational mockup (smile test drive) must present the ideal smile design that includes every discipline needed to rehabilitate the patient’s complete oral health (function, biology and aesthetics). The patient must accept a comprehensive treatment plan, even if there are design modifications, that would not affect the final outcome in the terms aforementioned;

2 - The case must be performed within a complete digital workflow, with no free hand procedures, that is 100% designed and manufactured by the DSD Planning Center and Lab. We recommend that after case acceptance, you share the approved smile design and treatment plan in detail, in the case's web chat, so that the Planning Center team can recommend all the necessary products for you to perform the case within DSD protocols and DSD Master requirements;

3 - The case must follow the copy-paste dentistry concept: the final outcome must be a copy of the initial design presented with the motivational mockup.

To enable evaluation after you submit the case, the DSD Master case must be fully documented as the DSD Master template presentation outlines: from the smile test drive, throughout all treatment and procedure’s stages, to the final outcome results.

The DSD Master Certification's requirements are there for a few reasons, and apply equally to all clients who submit their case for evaluation:

• These requirements ensure the DSD Master title is granted to dentists that show an outstanding performance in a DSD comprehensive case, employing digital and emotional dentistry workflows and protocols as per DSD guidelines.

• The case must be comprehensive in design and treatment plan as to ensure complete analysis, assessment, and diagnosis of the patient's current condition, to plan and propose a thorough, harmonic and digitally systematized solution to the patient. This embodies the DSD definition of comprehensive care. This certification stipulates that the DSD Master be a part of the collaborative design process and interdisciplinary treatment planning, to guide the dental treatment proposed.

• The case must be designed, planned and manufactured with DSD completely, as to ensure the facially-driven, copy-paste, and guided dentistry protocols, developed by DSD throughout years in the forefront of digital dentistry. Our solutions include all of the procedures necessary to deliver the smile design proposed, and this certification stipulates that the DSD Master works and collaborates under these production protocols, that are unique and exclusive to DSD Planning Center and Lab.

• The case must showcase a copy paste of the mockup approved, and this is only ensured as a result of a facially- driven smile design, a comprehensive treatment plan, and a guided dentistry performance, all led by DSD protocols.

• The requirements are a baseline for the DSD Faculty to evaluate, score and certify the DSD Providers and DSD Clinics under fair and objective guidelines.

• The requirements reflect what DSD believes and entrusts a DSD Master applies when delivering a complete DSD comprehensive care solution to their patients.

As a certified DSD Master, you are welcomed to this exclusive and innovative community that has been on the forefront of digital dentistry since 2012:

• You receive your DSD Master certificate online, along with its Certification Report from the DSD Faculty.

• Your profile will be highlighted in theDSD Master web.

• DSD social media will feature you as one of the certified DSD Masters of that month.

• Your case, should it comply with all requirements in full and received outstanding evaluation from the DSD Faculty, will be additionally posted onDSD social media.

• You are invited to one day of a DSD event/course of your choice, for the DSD Master pin ceremony, to receive this recognition from the scheduled DSD speaker. Please note that traveling, hospitality and meal costs are not included.

• You collaborate with the Planning Center as a DSD Clinic or DSD Provider with the added title of DSD Master.

• You can display your DSD Master title alongside DSD designed, planned and manufacture cases on social media, case presentations and lectures. Please note that you cannot display the DSD logo or your DSD Master title in any context that might imply you're accredited as a DSD Clinic if that is not the fact.
  

• Support from the Planning Center clinical advisors regarding the comprehensive case guidelines and an outline of the necessary DSD solutions to be assigned to the DSD Master case.
