The Prep Kit goes far beyond just the guides. It is a complete set of informations that support the dentist during preparation planning and execution.
The PrepKit includes:
1. Prep Guides (reduction + quality control guides)
2. Detailed instructions about: (i) Positioning of the preparation margins; (ii) The required depth and restorative space needed to achieve the patient’s desired shade; (iii) The best scanning strategy, to ensure a predictable and precise digital workflow; (iv) The recommended sequence of preparations, to improve clinical efficiency; (v) The provisionalization strategy, i.e., how to make suitable provisional restorations after preparation to keep bite and function like planned.
You should order the Prep Kit every time you perform cases with indirect restorations, after the ideal design has been approved and before the preparation appointment.
