Altamiro Flávio
Altamiro graduated in Dentistry from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG-1990). In 1992, he became a specialist in prosthesis from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU).
In 2000, he created a continuing education course "A Smile for Every Face", where he currently teaches several topics, such as: facial analysis, digital planning, dental anatomy, indirect and direct veneers, restorations, botulinum toxin, facial fillings, and viscosupplementation.
Recognized for his passion in dentistry and ease in teaching, in 2004 Altamiro became a professor of the Prosthesis Specialization Course of the ABO-GO and was invited to give lectures at congresses all over Brazil.
But his contribution to dentistry goes beyond the classroom. Altamiro has created several clinical practice solutions, including the Sofia (Millenium Golgran) spatula and the Komet drill.
Throughout his professional career, Altamiro has also dedicated himself to highly renowned dental institutions such as the Brazilian Society of Esthetic Dentistry (SBOE), where initially in 2006 he was an Associate Member and was awarded three times for his exhibited work.
In 2011, Altamiro was inducted as a Credentialed Member and General Coordinator of Scientific Works of said institution and was subsequently made Scientific Director and Vice President of the Annual Congress.
Besides SBOE, he is also one of the founding members of the Brazilian Society of Botulinum Toxin and Facial Implants (SBTI).
Currently, in addition to his private practice, he is also a professor of Specialization in Dentistry at ABO-GO and teaches courses in Brazil and abroad (the United States, Portugal, Argentina to name a few).
With 26 years of clinical experience, Altamiro is known in dentistry for treating beyond the patient's smile, creating and transforming smiles that harmonize with the face and personality of the patient, from various aesthetic references of the face and defending the union of aesthetics with function.
