A graduate of Queen’s University of Belfast, Dr Orr is one of the UK’s most prominent esthetic and cosmetic dentists.
He is past president and Accredited Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a former Director of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a certified member of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry, and also a certified member of the British Dental Bleaching Society.
As Course Director of Advanced Dental Seminars, he runs the UK’s well established one-year program on cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic restorative dentistry for dentists from all over the UK and Europe. Dr Orr divides his working time between training dentists and treating patients.
He is also the Chairman of the Judging Panel for the Smile Awards, the UK dental industry awards, which recognizes excellence in aesthetic dentistry.
He regularly travels abroad to attend and lecture at professional conferences. He has been an invited speaker at conferences as far ranging as France, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, Argentina, Korea, USA, Canada and Kazakhstan, as well as many places in the UK.
Dr Orr frequently writes articles on subjects related to cosmetic dentistry in the professional press. His work has been featured in London and national press, including the Daily Mail, London Evening Standard, the Daily Telegraph, and The Independent on Sunday, as well as in Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Eve, Real, Zest, Heat, Attitude, and B magazines, and also on BBC Radio London Live. TV features include “Extreme Makeover UK” (Living TV) and “Horizon” (BBC).
He enjoys photography and travelling in his spare time.
