Dr. Mussa graduated from the University of São Paulo in 2002 and by graduation, had already decided in favor of orthodontics. After graduation, he specialized in orthodontics at the Vellini Institute in São Paulo, learning Edgewise, Roth and MBT techniques.
His references have always been renowned orthodontists such as Capeloza, Trevisi, Janson, Vellini, Ertty and Nanda.
He learned about the Invisalign technique while still in specialization, but became accredited in 2011. He began doing treatments and every year found that his confidence increased and better results began to appear. He became very involved and sought more knowledge at national and international courses until he saw that this would have a crucial role in world orthodontics.
He was invited by Align Technology to be the Clinical Director for Latin America – something he refers to as a huge challenge but at the same time an honor to replace the person who had initiated him into the Invisalign system: Dr. Mauricio Casa.
Dr. Mussa’s role will be to coordinate all education to do with Invisalign education throughout Latin America, and help to promote research regarding the system with universities from all the countries involved.
