Optimize your Guided Surgery workflow with DSD Clic Guide Basic Design. Select your provisional prosthesis (printed denture or immediate load) upfront. Mandatory planning approval of the implant positions is required to finalize your precision Stackable Guides.
The DSD Clic Guide Basic Design service provides state-of-the-art digital planning for predictable Guided Surgery and provisional denture or immediate prosthetic loading. This planning is the foundation for our precision Stackable Guides. The service covers a single arch.
- Prosthesis Choice (Mandatory): During prescription, you must select the provisional type: either a Provisional Denture designed for printing or a Provisional Prosthesis with holes for Immediate Loading. Ordering the optional Full Arch Implant Temp product includes STL files for both types.
- Implant Approval is Key: Guide manufacturing is strictly contingent upon your express, written approval of the Implant Plan. Modifications after approval will extend timelines.
- Review Options: Approval is done via Live Call, Video Walkthrough, or the Interactive 3D Viewer.
Order the DSD Clic Guide Basic Design when you are committed to a Full Arch Guided Surgery case utilizing the DSD workflow.
This planning product must follow a preceding DSD design (like Diagnostic Design or Implant Planning) to ensure aesthetic continuity. It is the essential next step after you and your patient have confirmed the Full Extraction treatment path. By building upon established aesthetic parameters, we guarantee a precise and predictable foundation for your Surgical Guide fabrication and subsequent Guided Surgery.
Our process is structured for efficiency, though final times depend on your feedback speed:
- Implant Planning Delivery: We deliver the initial implant proposal (ready for your review) within 2 Business Days.
- Final Guide STL Delivery: After your explicit approval of the implant plan, the creation of the final Stackable Guides (STL files) and Surgical Report takes an additional 3 to 5 Business Days.
Note: Any changes requested during the Implant Planning review will extend this timeline. Always confirm final timelines with our design team.
To ensure accurate Guided Surgery planning, the following assets and selections are mandatory at the time of ordering:
4.1. Mandatory Clinical Files:
- CBCT (DICOM): The core data for your Guided Surgery plan. (
- STL Scans (Mandatory for Occlusion):
- Dentate/Partially Dentate Cases: STL files of both arches in occlusion are required.
- Edentulous Cases: STL scan of the edentulous ridge is necessary. If the patient has a prosthesis, a separate STL scan of the complete prosthesis, captured on all sides, including the maximum palate (full anatomical detail), must be provided.
4.2. Mandatory Prescription Selections:
The prescribing doctor must specify the Provisional Prosthesis Type and their preferred Implant Planning Review Method:
Provisional Prosthesis Type (Select One):
- Provisional Denture designed for printing.
- Provisional Prosthesis with holes for Immediate Loading.
Implant Planning Review Method (Select One):
- Live Call with Clinical Expert: Recommended for immediate feedback, especially on first cases.
- Video Walkthrough: A narrated video tour of the final Guided Surgery plan.
- Interactive 3D Viewer: Access to review the plan with CBCT cross-sections overlaid, ideal for detailed inspection of the planned implants before Guide manufacturing.
Note: All uploaded files must be less than 6 months old
Upon final approval and completion of the design phase, you will receive the comprehensive digital package necessary for your Guided Surgery procedure:
- Complete Surgical Guide STL Files: Includes the Base Guide, Position Guide, and Implant Guide ready for 3D printing of your Stackable Guides.
- Provisional Prosthesis STL File: The finalized STL for the provisional appliance you selected (Provisional Denture OR Provisional Prosthesis with holes). (If the extra product Immediate Full Arch Implant Temp is ordered, both provisional STLs are included).
- Surgical Report: A detailed document outlining all parameters of the approved implant positions.
- Review Material Access: The digital asset corresponding to your chosen approval method (Call Recording/Video/Viewer Link).
