The Update to DSD Implant Planning is necessary when:
- You have an existing DSD esthetic/restorative design and now require the technical, execution-ready files for implant surgery.
- You need an exhaustive analysis that integrates the initial DSD design with new CBCT and facial data to ensure all surgical factors are considered in the planning proposal.

To initiate the Update to DSD Implant Planning service, the following prerequisites are mandatory:
- A previous design product must be in place for the same patient (e.g., DSD Restorative or Initial Design).
- Mandatory Diagnostic Data:
- CBCT scan (Cone Beam Computed Tomography).
- Updated intraoral and facial scans (if any significant changes have occurred since the last design).
- Current patient photos (facial and intraoral).
- Clinical presentation (PDF): A visual and structured summary that includes all relevant clinical information supporting the chosen treatment plan. Designed to enhance case understanding and communication with the team or patient.
- Pre Design STL file: Technical design to guide execution prior to treatment (only for partial edentulous cases)
- Final Design STL file: The final technical design, including implant positions and extensions, to verify the implant's emergence.
