DSD Provider membership is attained by attending a DSD Provider course and completing the subsequent DSD Planning Center certification, an online guided training program that onboards clients on how to make the most of working with the DSD Planning Center. Once completed, dentists achieve DSD Provider status and can access a monthly membership that grants access to submitting cases with the DSD Planning Center. To become a DSD Clinic dental clinic owners need to complete the DSD Clinic certification. The accreditation process includes a tailored in-house consultancy designed to implement the DSD experience in the practice with team engagement, and an online coaching program delivered by our expert consultants to ensure patients’ satisfaction, professional fulfillment and business success. Dental clinics who have trained in DSD implementation and operate as a team with digital workflows gain the most value from the DSD Planning Center and have grown their clinics significantly as a result.

DSD Clinic membership monthly fees start from $6000 and once the certification is complete this shifts to $5000 per month. The average time of the DSD Clinic certification process is 6-9 months, however the clinic can submit cases to the DSD Planning Center and enjoy other DSD Clinic benefits right from the start of this timeframe. During this time the DSD Coaching and DSD Team Consultancy will ensure the clinic team is thoroughly onboarded and trained in DSD implementation.

After attending the DSD Provider course, in either the in-person or online formats, all participants have a three-month window in which to complete the DSD Planning Center certification. This is an online onboarding program that consists of video, reading and assessment content that can be completed at your preferred pace. Once this is completed the DSD Provider membership can be activated.

The DSD Provider membership is ideal for dentists who are starting out in their comprehensive digital care journey and want to build a portfolio of cases with the guidance of the dentists at the DSD Planning Center. This is a great approach to try out DSD workflows in a low risk, low commitment way. This option is also well suited to dentists who do not yet own their own practice.

The DSD Clinic membership is ideal for dental clinic owners who want to fast track their DSD implementation while empowering their team, boosting case acceptance and accessing the top tier services that DSD has to offer. This is a great option if you want to grow your clinic business and supercharge your teamwork, delight your patients and work with less stress and more predictability.

While both membership plans grant access to the DSD Planning Center, they are very different from each other. As a DSD Provider, you are certified to work with the DSD Planning Center for a period of two years, within the above mentioned payment plans. After this period, DSD reserves the right to invite you to take the current DSD Planning Center Certification exam at that time, ensuring that you remain up to date with our guidelines.

You are eligible for such revalidation, free of charge, if you have worked with the DSD Planning Center for one month or more during this 2-year period and have opened at least one case, completing the initial design product assigned to it.

If you do not open any case during a 2-year period after certifying as a DSD Provider, and wish to resume working with the DSD Planning Center thereafter, you’ll be required to attend the then current DSD Provider Course and undergo the complete DSD Planning Center Certification process available at such time.

This means that the minimum requirement to revalidate your DSD Provider certification, at no extra charge, is to be actively collaborating with the DSD Planning Center with at least one case opened and one initial design completed, in the period of 24 months. If not, after said period, the above mentioned conditions or the then current DSD Planning Center access requirements will apply.
