DSD Ortho Planning

DSD Ortho Planning is a digital surgical plan and orthodontic setup of the upper and lower arches, designed through a facially-driven, clinical, and functional analysis of the patient.

With this product, every orthodontic movement is designed not only to align teeth but also to respect the patient’s facial harmony, airway health, and long-term function.

The simulation goes beyond orthodontics alone, allowing you to visualize and integrate all interdisciplinary treatments connected to the case—such as implants, prosthetic rehabilitation, periodontal, or surgical procedures—into a single, coordinated plan.

By digitally guiding both tooth movements and related interventions, DSD Ortho Planning ensures that the entire treatment is predictable, efficient, and aligned with aesthetic, functional, and biological objectives.

• DSD Clinics: Up to 5 business days
• DSD Members and Providers: Up to 7 business days

For the correct execution of the planning, we require the following information:

Mandatory

1. DSD Photo Protocol, including 5 photos and video
2. STL file of the upper arch and STL file of the lower arch in occlusion (upper arch with full palate)
3. Bimaxillary CBCT in multi-slice DICOM format

We are experts in the use of CBCT files for orthodontic planning, which allows us to segment roots, bone and other important anatomical structures for a more comprehensive study and planning. For you to fully benefit from this feature, we would like to request the complete CBCT of both arches together in the same file.

This product offers doctors a comprehensive workflow that includes:

• Complete case evaluation: detailed analysis of CBCT scans, 3D models, and pictures to ensure the feasibility and safety of the treatment.
• Ortho Planning: personalized orthodontic planning performed by our expert team, aligned with the patient’s aesthetic and functional goals.
• Interdisciplinary simulations: all interdisciplinary simulations related to the orthodontic treatment are included, based on the doctor’s specifications according to the prescription form.
• Pre-treatment and post-treatment STL files, presentation and a Viewer link.
