DSD Shell Design

The DSD Shell is a set of veneer-type restorations that can be temporarily placed on your patient, for motivational purposes, to show them how their smile will look once treatment is complete.

It is designed according to the DSD Ideal Design and can be used in the 2nd appointment to show your patient how their smile will look once treatment is complete.

This product is ideal for any case in which you perform the Motivational Mock-up test drive. It substitutes the conventional silicone index/bysacril mock-up.

The DSD Shell is not recommended when the Ideal Design is considerably subtractive. This is because the Shell Mock-up needs more volume/structure compared to the conventional mock-up as it is indirect and needs to be printed beforehand.

Yes, you'll need to purchase a DSD Upper & Lower or a DSD Upper in order to have the Ideal Smile Design first.
