DSD Ortho Planning + TPS

Our DSD Ortho Planning service provides a complete digital plan and orthodontic setup simulation for the upper and lower arches. Through a comprehensive digital workflow, we integrate clinical, functional, and facially-driven aesthetic analysis. This ensures a customized, highly detailed clinical roadmap that is perfectly aligned with the desired final result.

This service is available as the DSD Ortho Planning + TPS package. In addition to the facially-driven setup, this product incorporates the DSD Ortho TPS component, which specifically includes the initial planning in the aligner software, one refinement, and one ortho quality control check. This integration allows for the transfer of the final approved position directly to the aligner software, enhancing predictability and optimizing strategies to achieve the ideal outcome.

Our DSD Ortho Planning + TPS service is a comprehensive, digitally guided solution for orthodontic cases. It provides a detailed plan that ensures:

• Facially & Airway-Driven Design: Every orthodontic movement is designed to respect the patient’s facial harmony, airway health, and long-term function.
• Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Integration: The simulation allows you to visualize and integrate all related treatments (such as implants, prosthetics, or surgery) into a single, coordinated plan.
• Predictable and Efficient Treatment: Digital guidance of all tooth movements and interventions ensures the entire treatment is predictable, efficient, and aligned with aesthetic, functional, and biological objectives.
• Seamless TPS Integration: Accurately translates the approved position into the aligner planning software. This increases predictability and refines strategies to achieve the optimal final result.

Please note that the delivery of reports and files depends on the Planning Center's capacity, availability, and the specific product ordered.
Delivery Times reference for the DSD Ortho Planning setup:

• DSD Clinics: Up to 4 business days
• DSD Members and Providers: Up to 5 business days

The standard turnaround time for TPS is up to 10 days, once you have approved the Ortho Planning.

However, please be aware that modifications can impact this timeline. This also applies to any refinement requests you may have.

For the correct execution of the planning, we require the following information:

Mandatory

1. DSD Photo Protocol, including 5 photos and video.
2. STL file of the upper arch and STL file of the lower arch in occlusion (upper arch with full palate).
3. Bimaxillary CBCT in multi-slice DICOM format.
4. Share the case via your aligner platform (e.g., Invisalign, Spark, ClearX) with DSD added as a collaborator or provider, both for the initial planning and for any refinement stages.
5. When a refinement or orthodontic quality control is required, upload and send new STL files showing the patient’s current situation (post-ortho).

This service provides a comprehensive package of digital tools and documentation for guided orthodontic and interdisciplinary treatment:

- Complete Case Evaluation: A detailed analysis covering CBCT scans, 3D models, and photographic records to ensure the feasibility and safety of the proposed treatment.

- Ortho Planning: Personalized orthodontic planning performed by our expert team, precisely aligned with the patient’s aesthetic and functional objectives.

- Interdisciplinary Simulations: Interdisciplinary treatment simulations connected to the orthodontic plan are included, based strictly on the doctor’s specifications provided via the prescription form.

- Digital Files and Viewer Access: Includes the necessary pre-treatment and post-treatment STL files, a detailed Presentation document, and a Viewer link for easy consultation and sharing.

- DSD TPS Final Report presentation: a pdf presentation containing all the images and necessary information of our final strategies and plan sent after your final ClinCheck approval.

- Upon request, the Ortho Quality Control viewer and the TPS Refinement Report will be provided after the first set of aligners has been completed, or following any subsequent refinement sets.

*Please note that the TPS report will be sent to you at a later stage of the process. Once the initial DSD Ortho Planning is approved, you can submit the case to Invisalign, and upon receiving the ClinCheck, the case needs to be shared with our TPS team.
