The DSD Planning Center is the world’s first and only interdisciplinary treatment planning center for dentists, helping its clients to amplify their treatment planning and case acceptance to do more complex dentistry with greater accuracy.
A question that we get asked very often is: How much does it cost to submit and plan a case with the DSD Planning Center?
My name is George Cabanas and my role as Operations Manager at the DSD Planning Center means that I oversee all Planning and Manufacturing cases from our clients around the world. In this article, I will explain who can submit cases, what services we provide, and how the costs are calculated.
Who can submit a case to the DSD Planning Center?
Two types of clients who can submit cases to the DSD Planning Center: the doctors who have attended the DSD Provider course and taken the DSD Planning Center Certification subsequently, and our global network of certified DSD Clinics.
We are exclusive to these two groups to deliver high standards of comprehensive treatment planning and to support the doctors who are truly committed to being comprehensive digital care clinics.
These individuals have chosen the digital dentistry path, they have invested in DSD courses and technology in the pursuit of transition, and for this reason, they benefit the most from this dedicated and customized support.

What services does the DSD Planning Center provide?
The DSD Planning Center provides interdisciplinary treatment planning services, case acceptance tools, and clinical execution products and services for our clients.
Each service we provide is priced differently depending on its scope and complexity. These services are categorized under the key functions of Design, Plan, Motivate, Perform and Restore.
Under the Design, Plan and Motivate banner, some of our most popular services are the DSD Upper design, DSD Interdisciplinary Planning, DSD Ortho Planning and DSD Restorative Planning. Under the Perform category, our Crown Lengthening Guide Design, TAD Guide Design, DSD Clic Guide Design, and SFOT Guide are in high demand. For Restore, our clients love the DSD Direct Design and the DSD Pressed Design, among many others.
For an Interdisciplinary Treatment planning service, we provide a Live Treatment Planning session during which doctors converse online with a select DSD Planning Center team member to discuss every element of their case design. This service provides crucial opportunities for modifications to be made in real time before the case is presented to the patient or before execution.
What do DSD Planning Center clients pay?
As a DSD Clinic, the monthly membership starts from $6000 and this guarantees access to the DSD Planning Center.
It’s important to note that our clients pay per product and build these costs into their patient treatment plans, making this collaboration a cost-effective strategy. Many DSD Clinics also charge their patients upfront for a DSD Smile Test drive with great success while others deduct this cost from the treatment plan once accepted.
There is also a planning fee associated with each submitted case that you will present, which can range from $300 to $1,500 depending on the complexity of the case.
Dentists who have completed the DSD Planning Center Certification after attending the DSD Provider course unlock a monthly DSD Provider Plan. This costs $595 per month and includes a complimentary design product. This membership level ensures access to the DSD Planning Center and does not include any DSD Clinic discounts or additional benefits as well as access to products such as DSD Interdisciplinary.
How much do cases cost?
Every case planned with the DSD Planning Center has a starting point cost for the smile design and ideal treatment plan. Clients are provided with the smile design files and mockup along with the DSD Case Report, the complete treatment suggestions designed to present to the patient.
The DSD Case Report is also an invaluable communication tool to drive case acceptance. The service starts from $480 and can go up to $1,750 for DSD Upper, DSD Lower, DSD Upper & Lower, or DDS Interdisciplinary cases.
Depending on the type and complexity of the case, the cost varies for the complete DSD solution to deliver the treatment plan suggestion. These complete cases can range from a Lite Dentistry case (comprising teeth straightening and composite bonding) which has a total estimated cost of $2.915,00 to an Orthodontic + 12 Veneers Restorative Case which has a total estimated cost of $9,000.
